Amanda Nunes solidified her status as the UFC’s best-ever female fighter with her first-round knockout of Holly Holm at UFC 239 in Las Vegas on Saturday.
“The Lioness” now has wins over Holm, Miesha Tate, Valentina Shevchenko, Cris Cyborg, and, of course, Ronda Rousey. She currently holds both the 135 and 145 belts and should have them for a long time because there really isn’t anyone on the planet that can stand with her right now.
Nunes’ wrapped up a quick night against Holm with a vicious leg kick to the head that put Holm down and out and set off another great celebration by Nunes and her team, which included her fiancee, UFC fighter Nina Ansaroff.
