Amanda Holden wears dress made of money on private jet for Heart FM giveaway

Amanda Holden pulled out all the luxury stops to celebrate the final of Heart FM’s Make Me A Millionaire competition.

The presenter, 54, and her radio breakfast show co-host Jamie Theakston, 54, were due to give one lucky listener £1 million on Friday after nine finalists battled it out in a game show.

To mark the occasion, the Britain’s Got Talent judge rocked a dress made out of £50 notes with a matching hat and bag as she posed inside a luxury private jet with her dog, Minnie.

Holden, who was also wearing a white fur coat, then descended from the plane onto a red carpet in a bid to capture the “millionaire lifestyle”.

In a video shared on Instagram, the TV star was seen climbing into a waiting red Ferrari and driving to the Global radio studios in central London.

Later on, Holden was able to deliver the life-changing news to listener Kieran Williams that he had won the game and was the UK’s newest millionaire.

The design engineer, from Tamworth, revealed he will spend the money on an AAC device for his autistic son Alex, who is non-verbal.

The device will allow Alex to communicate with his friends and family through a sound board, however, these typically cost around £11,000.

Williams said he will also help to purchase other devices for children attending Alex's specialist school for non-verbal children.

He is the sixth person Heart FM have made a millionaire.

Aside from her radio presenting gig, Holden has been busy filming auditions for the new series of BGT.

Last week she sent Swiss dance troupe The Blackouts straight through to the grand finale using the live show golden buzzer.

The first semi-final live show of the 2025 series of ITV reality contest took place at the Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith, London on Saturday.

The real-time broadcasts are voted on by the viewers, with the judges Simon Cowell, Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli giving their opinions.

At the outset of Saturday’s episode, Geordie presenting duo Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly revealed that Holden had been given the “first” live show golden buzzer power, so she can send a contestant straight through to the final.
