Amanda Holden takes the bins out in her ballgown as she seizes chance to dress up

British television favourite Amanda Holden seized an opportunity to dress up as she took the bins out in her ballgown.

The Britain's Got Talent judge, 49, has been coping with social distancing measures just like the rest of us and has even been presenting her Heart radio show amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

Now, Amanda has taken to Instagram to show how she has made the most of her essential trips outside by going for high fashion to take the bins out.

She posted an image of herself in a gorgeous pink ball gown as she pulled her wheelie bin to the front of her house in Richmond, London.

Amanda captioned the amusing image: "Wheelie wanted to dress up tonight! #StayAtHome #BallgownBinsOut #GlamForYourBinman #ClapOurKeyWorkers #StillStayGlam @thisisheart #bin @richmond_council "

Amanda told Daily Mail's Weekend magazine : "Hopefully BGT will be a bit of medicine for the whole country. I mean that.

"We need to just connect, to hear other people's stories, laugh, cry, all those human things that BGT has always been about."

She also spoke about the devastation that the pandemic is causing across the world and how she is approaching the changes.

She added: "People's whole worlds are just collapsing, but those of us who can have to carry on doing what we do. What's the alternative?"

Britan's Got Talent returns on ITV on April 11 at 8pm on ITV.
