Amanda Holden shrugs off Portugal Amber list concerns as she hits beach in sexy swimsuit

The news that Portugal is moving from the UK government's Green travel list to the Amber travel list didn't seem to phase Amanda Holden as she hit the beach in a sexy swimming costume this week.

The Britain's Got Talent judge is currently enjoying a trip with her family to the sun-soaked country but she seemingly shrugged off concerns about the changes in the government's travel advice as she posed in the sun.

Amanda looked incredible in a black mesh swimsuit as she emerged from the sea.

Alongside a red heart and sun emoji, she captioned the snap: "Fancy a dip?! #familytime "

The 50-year-old TV star is on holiday with her husband Chris Hughes and their kids - Hollie, nine, and Alexa, 15.

But she may have to cut short her break as Portugal is set to move to the Amber list.

Previously, Amanda and her family wouldn't need to quarantine on their return. However, if they return after June 8, the family must isolate at home for 10 days.

They may be able to get out of quarantine quicker if they use the test to release scheme, which allows holidaymakers to end their quarantine after five days if they produce a negative COVID-19 test.

Amanda hasn't been shy about sharing snaps of her relaxing break on social media.

Posting a photo earlier this week of her enjoying the sun in a white bikini, she wrote: "Feeling ‘all white’ today."

She also uploaded a rare photo of her daughters posing on the sandy Portuguese beaches.

Amanda previously slammed the government's response to overseas travel during the coronavirus pandemic, after she was forced to cancel her Boxing Day holiday at the end of 2020.

"I cancelled my holiday on #BoxingDay... it was hard. But I was flying with a negative test and everything was in place for a safe holiday with my family.

"WHY THEN, ARE THE UK ONLY JUST making the decision to test for Covid for people coming into our country?" she wrote.

She added: "We’ve all sacrificed so much in different ways ... most of us have been responsible.

"Had so much good will and respect for each other. Joined together and marched on through this... it’s made me see this morning hearing it on the news - the senseless year of neglect of Government rules at our borders... other countries have done it before us."
