Amanda Holden shares an Instagram video of herself dancing while dressed up as a nun

Amanda Holden has switched things up from her usual raunchy Instagram posts, as she uploaded a Story of herself dancing in a nun’s outfit.

The Heart breakfast host could be seen wearing a flowing black nun’s gown with a white veil. She wore a diamond encrusted cross on a chain around her neck to complete the look.

Amanda, 51, is known for her daily fashion updates to the social media site, alongside sexy and glamorous selfies. In spite of her conservative costume, the presenter gave the look a glam twist, wearing a full face of make-up. Her clear skin was tanned and glowing, as she wore a soft smokey eye look with bronze eyeshadow and plenty of mascara, paired with baby pink lip gloss.

Her blonde tresses were tied in a simple ponytail, keeping her hair out of her face under her nun’s veil. In the Story, which was originally a TikTok video, Amanda danced and lip-synched to the 1992 hit song Hallelujah.

The video was filmed in an old building with exposed brick walls, with eagle-eyed viewers spotting some multi-coloured spotlights in the corner of the room, which were flashing red, yellow, green and blue as Amanda danced. She didn’t explain why she had dressed up, prompting fans to believe she may be working on a mysterious project.

Although the star isn’t short of work, as she recently revealed she had been negotiating with Simon Cowell over her Britain’s Got Talent contract.

The pair were at the Variety Club Awards together, and when Amanda welcomed Simon to the stage, she told listeners: “I am currently in negotiations for my 16th year on Britain’s Got Talent”, to which Simon, 61, whispered: “The deal is done.”

Amanda retorted: “No it is not. The deal is not done.”

It comes amid controversy facing the show, following leaked remarks made by fellow judge David Walliams.

On whether David would be appearing on the next series of the talent show, Simon wouldn’t give a definite answer. However, speaking of the show’s judges, he said: “For me the most important thing is the talent. It’s always about that. If you don’t have great talent, you don’t have a show. That’s all I care about.”
