Amanda Holden's fury gets tile employee sacked after accusing her of wanting 'celeb treatment'

Amanda Holden was left furious at Appleby Tiles customer service as a now sacked employee accused the actress of using her celebrity status against them.

The Britain's Got Talent judge, 48, admitted she was "so cross" as she shared online messages which showed the conversation between her and the employee on Instagram .

Amanda claimed that the wrong tiles had been sent out to her, but the company said she still had to pay for them anyway, although they'd refund the price of shipping.

The pictures Amanda shared to social media showed the person being named as "Jack", and stated: "Unfortunately we do not make exceptions for 'celebrity' status and all of our customers are treated the same."

A rep for Appleby Tiles told the Daily Express : "The customer had been "fully refunded within one hour of the issue arising".

She captioned the screenshots with a rant, explaining: "I'm so cross that applebys-tiles.co.uk seem to have no proper customer service."

The actress insisted she never asked for special service and that the order was simply made under her name.

"Secondly the company have admitted it was their mistake," and vexing to her followers, she questioned if she'd have to pay for tiles that were wrong.

The star added if there's another small British business that are willing to help out, she's "equally willing to big them up".

"Everyone else calls it anxiety. I'm not going to get on the bandwagon of mental health, as important as it is, but I've always had that.

"You just talk yourself down. You tell yourself you've got nothing to worry about and go out and face the world."
