Amanda Holden reckons NHS will be 'inundated' with quarantine babies in nine months

Amanda Holden is excited for next December already.

The Heart Breakfast radio show host, 49, has insisted that the NHS will not only be kept bust for the next couple of months thanks to the coronavirus, but also thanks to quarantine.

As couples are cooped up together at home during self isolation, there's not that much to do, but Amanda feels there is one thing in particular that couples are enjoying - and that's getting down and dirty.

Speaking with her co-host Jamie Theakston this morning, the mother-of-two said she reckons birth rates will be see a massive increase in nine months time.

"All I'll say is God Bless the NHS, and bless them in nine months time as well, because they're going to be busy" she insisted.

Amanda continued: "You mark my words, next December nurses, doctors and midwives won't have a minute to breath with all the quarantine babies on their way".

Agreeing with her presumption, Jamie chimed in and added that there's literally 'no excuse' for people not to be getting down and dirty in these difficult and strange times.

"Definetly. What else are bored couples going to be getting up to?" he jibed.

Amanda's prediction comes after the mother-of-two openly admitted that she's finding it difficult to home school her two daughters while in quarantine.

She has admitted that she fears she will be 'bald' by the end of the pandemic.

The 49-year-old mother-of-two is currently 'trying her best' to home school her two daughters, Alexa 14 and Hollie, 8.

After Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the closure of schools across Britain last Wednesday, thousands of parents across the UK have decided that they will take their children's education into their own hands over the coming weeks and months.

And Amanda is no exception as she opened up on family life while speaking to radio co-cost Jamie Theakston on Heart FM this morning.

Admitting how stressed she feels about the whole situation, Amanda joked that fears she will 'go bald' by the end of the coronavirus pandemic.

"I will be bald by the end of this after pulling out all of my hair" the 49-year-old confessed.

She added: "It's the most surreal situation, and trying to keep the girls entertained while feeling safe is a full time job".

There's no doubt that many parents across the country are feeling the exact same in the current state of affairs.
