Amanda Holden poses in sweet snap with lookalike daughters and salutes parents in lockdown

Amanda Holden has shared a snap of her daughters and revealed she is "so proud" of them.

The Britain's Got Talent judge, 49, has taken to social media to share some love for her daughters.

On her Instagram page, Amanda shared a black-and-white snap of herself with her lookalike children: 15-year-old daughter Lexie and her nine-year-old daughter Hollie.

She shares her daughters with husband and songwriter Chris Edwards.

Amanda captioned the gorgeous snap: "So proud of my gorgeous girls during this #lockdown Not too much moaning [laughing face emoji]

"Saluting parents and guardians everywhere who are doing their best in this trying time [red heart emoji]️".

Naturally, Amanda's fans loved her snap and message and took to the comments section to share their love.

One person commented: "What a beautiful pic of you and the girls Mandy [love heart emojis]".

A different fan replied to the post: "It's so hard isn't it, totally sympathise with so many right now. Beautiful photo. [red heart emoji]".

Meanwhile, another of Amanda's followers penned: "All you need in times like these is each other. [two red heart emojis]".

Elsewhere, a different Instagram user wrote: "You have each other all together and safe. That’s the main thing [heart emoji]".

Finally, one Amanda fan concluded: "Best mum in the world! You are such a lovely mum to Lexi & Hollie! Love you Amanda!"

The lovely post comes after last month it was revealed that Britain's Got Talent would not be returning to ITV in 2021.

In a statement, the producers and broadcaster admitted that they could not guarantee the safety of all those involved.

It read: "Despite everyone at ITV, Thames and Syco doing their best to make it happen, and with our absolute priority of safeguarding the well-being and health of every person involved in the programme from judges, hosts and contestants to all of the crew and audience, the decision has been made to – unfortunately - move the record and broadcast of the 15th series of Britain's Got Talent to 2022."

Speaking on her Heart radio show on how the pandemic would affect BGT, Amanda said: "I think out of every show on television Britain’s Got Talent needs the audience.

"We need you guys, because we call them the fifth judge and it just makes no sense not to have them behind us."
