Amanda Holden mocks BGT dress backlash as she covers up for This Morning interview

Britain's Got Talent star Amanda Holden laughed off the recent complaints about her outfit during the semi-final on Saturday.

The stunning floor-length gown featured a long slit at the side up to her waist - but it was the plunging neckline with off-the-shoulder sleeves that sparked backlash.

Viewers claimed they could "see her nipples", hitting out at the Head Judge for her glamorous attire.

Many claimed it was too much for a family show, even taking to Ofcom to register complaints about the episode - while some were loving the look.

Speaking of the drama on Friday, Amanda laughed it all off as she spoke about her new album on This Morning.

Amanda will take centre stage this Saturday night as she performs on BGT, singing a track from her debut album Songs From My Heart.

Hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford brought up the dress situation, asking her what they might be seeing this weekend.

Amanda laughed at the fact there had been a Twitter fan account set up for "her nipples", joking they now had their own management.

As she made her appearance on the live show, Amanda revealed she had covered up for the occasion in a pink polo neck top.

She even showed the hosts she was wearing a bra to ensure no complaints this time around, as well as pointing out her long sleeves.

Initially pulling a face as Eamonn brought up the complaints, she definitely saw the funny side.

On her nipples "having their own management" Amanda said she told pal and former co-star Piers Morgan that they'd be on his show Life Stories very soon.

Amanda also shared her nerves ahead of her BGT performance, but said fellow judge David Walliams was being supportive.

With usual Head Judge Simon Cowell not filming due to a recent back injury, Amanda confessed she was quite happy he wouldn't be there to judge her.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
