Amanda Holden leads celebs getting into Halloween spirit early with Hocus Pocus makeover

Halloween 2022 is just days away but a host of celebrities have already been playing dress up.

With spooky A-List parties set to be thrown all weekend, some well-known faces have been getting in the ghoulish spirit already – despite October 31 not being until Monday.

Amanda Holden has kicked things off with the ultimate Halloween outfit inspiration for the weekend.

The Heart Radio presenter, 51, joined co-stars Ashley Roberts and and Jamie Theakston to recreate Hocus Pocus this morning.

The trio got into costume as the iconic Sanderson sisters in what’s set to be a very popular group outfit choice thanks to the release of Hocus Pocus 2 last month.

The radio hosts played dress up as the iconic witched from the 1993 cult classic and recreated the original film poster in the Heart Studios in London.

Amanda donned Mary’s look, played by the iconic Kathy Najimy, while Ashley channelled Sarash Jessica Parker’s character Sarah.

Jamie was the pièce de resistance as he practically embodied Bette Midler to star as Winifred.

Amanda showed off their looks on her Instagram, as she debuted her costume which featured a purple mini dress, pointed black stilettos and a purple wig, styled into a witches hat.

If the Hocus Pocus look is not floating your fancy dress boat, we’ve rounded up what the celebs are wearing this year.

From sexy outfits inspired by iconic movie characters to terrifying get ups and the downright disturbing, these are the best celebrity Halloween outfits we’ve seen so far - but who do you think looks the best?

Kylie Jenner and Hailey Bieber

Kylie Jenner brushed off ongoing rumours that Travis Scott, the father of Kylie's two children, has been cheating with another woman as she dressed up as a witch and went to grab pizza with her pal Hailey Bieber.

The friends, both 25, slathered themselves in green paint and donned sultry black witches costumes before heading to a pizza parlour to grab a bite earlier this week.

"Why is everybody staring at us?" Kylie says in a video posted to TikTok, while Hailey can be heard agreeing: "I know!"

"I feel like we're dressed so normal, so it makes no sense," Hailey said.

In an Instagram post, Kylie could be seen lounging in a huge bath in full costume while embracing a skeleton.

Megan Thee Stallion

Was the first to get into the Halloween spirit as she donned her first costume on October 1.

The ‘Body’ rapper sipped a mimosa in her pyjamas with a huge terrifying jack-o’-lantern pumpkin on her head.

She sipped her beverage while casually reading a coffee-table book on Scandinavian design.

Megan recently opened up about how she needs to take a break from her career following a reported break-in to her Los Angeles home that saw over $300,000 worth of property stolen.

Sarah Michelle Gellar

Sarah Michelle Gellar donned a high-school uniform from Netflix ’s new film So Revenge in her All Hallows' Eve outfit offering.

Sarah Michelle Gellar plays a small but vital role as the headmaster of Rosehill Country Day School in the new movie following her huge parts in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Scooby-Do.

Plugging the steaming site’s release, she posted a snap to her Instagram where she donned the blue tartan skirt and matching tie.

I told [director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson] I was jealous I never got to wear the amazing costumes she designed for the Rosehill uniform,” Gellar captioned her post. “But now the bigger question… am I more an Eleanor or Drea?!?”

JoJo Siwa

Nickelodeon alum JoJo Siwa may have already won Halloween. The 19-year-old actress transformed into Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter series in what can only be described as an act of sorcery.

She could have easily been mistaken for Tom Felton’s iconic evil teenage character as she slicked her platinum hair back and donned a Slytherin robe.

She bore striking resemblance to Draco as she posted a video to TikTok recreating a scene from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, where Draco introduces himself and his friends to Harry Potter.

“This is Crabbe, and Goyle,” Siwa lip syncs in her costume. “And I’m Malfoy. Draco Malfoy.”

Jennifer Garner

Actress Jennifer Garner got all poetic as she donned her double-whammy of costumes almost two weeks before Halloween.

She took to her social media to document three ghosts as they visited her kitchen ahead of spooky season.

Although, two of the ghosts looked suspiciously like the ‘13 Going On 30’ star in heavy makeup and the third like a dog under a bed sheet – but who are we to judge?

Her video shows her wearing two creepy ghost outfits as the star recited a scary poem.

She repeated the rhyme in the caption, which read: “Three little ghostesses. Sitting on postesses. Eating buttered toastesses. Greasing their fistesses. Up to their wristesses. Oh, what beastesses. To make such feastesses! #HappyHalloween [ghost emojis].”

Millie Bobby Brown

Stranger Things actress Milie Bobby Brown is not stranger to things that go bump in the night, but her Halloween costume has proven an odd choice for the spooky season.

The 18-year-old British star transformed into a stylish cow, complete with full body suit and a hood featuring a heifer’s face and ears.

"Getting into the #Halloween spirit," the actress wrote in the caption of her Instagram post on Tuesday, which was a collaboration with Samsung.
