Amanda Holden finally breaks silence on Phillip Schofield and Ruth Langsford's bitter NTA feud

Amanda Holden has made clear what side she is on in the bitter ongoing feud between the This Morning team.

Breaking her silence on this week’s unfolding drama, the 48-year-old Britain’s Got Talent judge left Ruth Langsford, 59, a comment of support on her social media.

Ruth, who is at the centre of an apparent row with Phillip Schofield, 57, posted a picture of herself and husband Eamon Holmes clutching the NTA gong after the event.

She posted the image alongside the caption: “Time to go home… one last pic with our tenth @officialntas award though!! @eamonnholmes @thismorning #nta.”

Amanda Holden quickly left her own statement under the picture.

“My faves,” she gushed alongside two heart emojis.

It’s not the first time that Amanda has vented her frustrations following her own clash with Philip last year.

It is believed that the pair have locked horns after Schofe blocked her from replacing Holly Willoughby on the ITV sofa whilst his co-host was busy with I’m A Celeb commitments.

The role ended up being taken by Rochelle Humes, after it is said that Phillip told bosses he didn’t want to work with Amanda.

Last year she also took to Heart Radio, where she co-hosts the breakfast show. Whilst on air she admitted: "Well I'm just gonna say that I really admire anyone that sticks up for themselves because it is not an easy thing to do.”

It has since been claimed that Amanda and Philip have moved past their feuding.

The recent revelation follows on from the frosty tensions that were spotted between Ruth and Phillip whilst the ITV cast claimed their NTA gong for best live magazine show on Tuesday.

Sources backstage have since claimed that the pair also clashed behind the scenes after they picked up their trophy.

Phil is alleged to have then turned his back on Ruth in the winners' room as they posed for photographs.

Despite the allegations, ITV bosses have maintained that the reports were ‘untrue’ and that the team actually remains in good spirits after their triumphant win.
