Amanda Holden required an emergency operation while on holiday, after breaking her leg in two places.
The 48-year-old Britain's Got Talent judge was tackling a Total Wipeout-style inflatable assault course when the accident happened.
The Heart FM breakfast show co-host reportedly snapped her fibula in two places, while playing with her seven-year-old daughter Hollie.
The TV star was rushed to hospital by her husband, record producer Chris Hughes, where she had a metal plate fitted into leg.
Despite having her leg in plaster following the nasty accident and being on crutches, Amanda has vowed to be back at work on Monday to join Jamie Theakston on Heart FM's breakfast show.

A source has told The Sun: "Amanda was enjoying some well-earned family time and was throwing herself into playing with her daughters at the seaside.
“She lost her footing while climbing on an inflatable assault course with her daughter and fell into the sea."
The source continued to say that after receiving "urgent medical attention at a hospital," Amanda has said she "just wants to be at home and in her own bed where she can rest up."

Amanda confirmed her predicament in a statement on Sunday night, saying: "Sadly this is true.
"I suffered a nasty accident while playing in the sea with the family during our half-term holiday and subsequently broke my leg in two places.
"I had an operation on Friday and a metal plate was fitted."

A spokesperson for Amanda added; “Despite this painful accident it’s business as usual for Amanda and she will return to Heart Breakfast on Monday 28th October.”
Amanda has had a decent year, with the news that she had landed the Heart FM role, which made her the best-paid female showbiz host in the UK.
The deal is said to be worth £3million and is more than double the £1.2million that Zoe Ball is pocketing for hosting a rival breakfast show for BBC Radio Two.
