Amanda Holden becomes new Jet2 air stewardess in move that stuns fans

Jet2 have gained a new hostess thanks to HeartFM's new competition video featuring Amanda Holden.

The contest offered a range of post-lockdown holidays for listeners to win and Amanda donned the airline's onboard outfit to coincide with the grand final.

The Britain's Got Talent judge flaunted how she is a perfect fit for a cabin crew role to highlight a post-lockdown holiday competition, in the jaunty new video.

Footage showed Amanda dressed as an air hostess for a playful new video and fans were stunned how good she looked.

Captioning the short Instagram video, she wrote: "Quite ‘frankly’ Fly me ANYWHERE!"

The star, who presents a breakfast show on Heart FM, strolled along the length of a mock passenger plane fuselage to Frank Sinatra's Fly Me To The Moon.

The prize was offered by airline and tour operator Jet2, which has a hub at Leeds Bradford Airport.

Currently Jet2holidays is the fourth-largest airline in the UK and the top airline as recommended on TripAdvisor and the UK's only airline to be awarded Which Recommended Provider.

HeartFM have asked listeners to nominate friends and family and why they deserve the dream holiday.

Jet2 recently announced that they would cancel all flight until March 25, due to coronavirus restrictions.

The government's lockdown has meant that the message is currently to stay at home and to stay local.

With Covid-19 cases rising in Yorkshire, it appears as though restrictions could be in place a while longer.

It has also added eight additional city break destinations including a new route to Paris, as well as services to Amsterdam, Barcelona, Budapest, Rome, Krakow, Prague and Venice.

As a result of this expansion, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays now has 52 sun and city destinations on sale from Leeds Bradford Airport for Summer 22.

Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “We know there is a lot of pent up demand, and since putting our Summer 22 programme on sale we have been very encouraged by the number of bookings coming through."
