'Am I on telly now?': Paddy McGuinness' This Morning appearance leaves viewers in stitches... he'd been up all night

Paddy McGuinness brought absolute chaos to the This Morning studio after he turned up straight from a night out.

The Bolton TV star appeared on the show as hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield taste tested crisps.

Paddy couldn't wait to get involved, but Holly was quick to call the 46-year-old out on his shenanigans.

"Paddy you sound a little hoarse, did you not go to bed last night?"

The funnyman replied: "I'm not gong to lie, I haven't been to bed."

He then asked: "What am I doing? Am I on telly now?"

Paddy continued to join in the crisp tasting before returning for his scheduled chat later in the show.

Things didn't get any better.

Paddy was joined by Top Gear co-star Chris Harris on the sofa.

The pair had been at the show's latest premiere in Leicester Square.

Paddy said he told the Director General of the BBC to 'get the sambucas in, son'.

"This is worse than I ever thought it could be," Chris said to giggling Paddy.

The daytime duo couldn't help but turn the chat back to Paddy's late night antics.

"I find it shocking someone could come on this sofa and still be drunk," Schofe said.

Holly joked: "Who would do that?"

"This time next week it will be us," she added, referring to the upcoming National Television Awards.

She added: "You two go home and get washed.

"I've never finished an interview saying that."

Viewers were in stitches.

"I'm crying laughing #thismorning," tweeted one.

Another added: "Oh dear this interview is gonna go viral."

"Ya gotta love Paddy," a third said.

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV from 10am.
