Thursday’s update tot he New Orleans Saints injury report brought more good news ahead of their Sunday kickoff with the New York Jets. Star running back Alvin Kamara (knee) turned in another full day’s work while managing his MCL injury, as did quarterback Taysom Hill (right finger), who is on track to start again this week.
The only change for New Orleans was the addition of wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey (hamstring), who practiced on a limited basis with a new ailment. Three Jets players were upgraded to limited participation after resting on Wednesday: former Saints defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins (knee) as well as tight end Ryan Griffin (knee/ankle) and linebacker C.J. Mosley (back). We’ll know more once the final injury report is released on Friday.
