Alvin Kamara Jumped All the Way Into the Stands After Scoring Game-Tying Two-Point Conversion

Saints running back Alvin Kamara was fired up after converting a game-tying two-point conversion against the Jaguars on Thursday night.

Following a Michael Thomas touchdown reception that brought New Orleans within two points of Jacksonville, Kamara had his number called on the two-point conversion.

After catching a short pass from Derek Carr to tack on the two points, Kamara celebrated boldly, running straight to the stands by the back of the end zone and jumping into the seats.

Kamara climbed up the wall, with the help of some eager Saints fans, and began dancing amongst the crowd. He celebrated his touchdown with the fans for a few seconds before turning around and hopping back onto the field.

“That’s a leap and a half. He’s ready to get into the second row,” said Al Michaels on the Amazon Prime broadcast.

The Saints’ offense was quiet for most of the night, but they rediscovered their form late in the game, and managed to tie things up at 24 with less than seven minutes remaining. Ultimately, New Orleans came up short in the game, failing to convert on fourth-and-goal in the final minute and losing 31–24.
