Alun Wyn Jones was an early departure from Wales v New Zealand after a shoulder injury.
The Wales captain, who was making his 149th appearance for his country, was hurt while putting in a big tackle on All Blacks full-back Jordie Barrett around the 20-minute mark.
The shoulder is the same one he dislocated while on Lions duty against Japan in a warm-up match back in June.
He famously put in a Herculean effort to complete a remarkable recovery in time to belatedly join up with Warren Gatland's Lions in South Africa and regain the captaincy.
Jones was seen leaving the field to applause from the tens of thousands of fans inside the Principality Stadium, with his arm supported by a medic.
He was then led down the tunnel as his team-mates continued their autumn opener against the All Blacks.
