Alton Towers launch sale on passes that let you have unlimited visits

A pass that lets you visit Alton Towers as many times as you wish this summer has been reduced in price.

As school holidays in Liverpool begin many will be travelling the short distance to Staffordshire to visit the UK's biggest theme park.

The park boasts a host of white-knuckle rides, a water park, Cbeebies Land for younger visitors and themed hotels. New attractions include the Wicker Man ride based on the cult film, a Peter Rabbit-themed ride for smaller children and the scary Alton Towers Dungeon experience.

With so much to do families will have to pay a significant amount to enter.

Tickets for a one-day pass are priced at £34 when booked in advance online or £58 per person on the door. Annual passes start from £139.

However, a new deal means visitors can buy a season pass giving entry into Alton Towers as many times as you wish between now and November, 3  for £50.

The deal has been launched by Wowcher and cuts £6 off the price of the season pass on the official Alton Towers website. The pass gives users access to the theme park on weekdays only and does not include the dungeon.

Wowcher also has a Premium Pass for £65 - £5 less than the official site - that does include weekend entry and the Alton Towers Dungeon.

Other deals websites including Attraction Tickets Direct and 365Tickets are selling standard day passes for £33, which is a £1 saving on the official site.
