Alton Towers Resort is due to reopen its theme park from April 12, and there are already some deals on overnight stays at the resort to be found.
The Staffordshire-based resort offers some accommodation options such as its Woodland Lodges which fall under 'self-contained' accommodation and can therefore reopen in April under England's lockdown roadmap.
When we took a look, we found short breaks from £230 per family (£57.50pp) in the cosy lodges, with breakfast included. (Based on a family of four staying the weekend of April 23-24).

In April it will just be the self-contained accommodation which reopens alongside the theme park, but the resort is set to reopen its hotels, other accommodation, waterpark and spa from May 17.
The resort also has a number of deals on school holidays, including the Easter break from £280 per family and May half term breaks from £270.
Oh, and if you've got your eye on May half term it's worth noting that because hotels are expected to reopen by then, there are breaks at the CBeebies Land hotel to be found with prices from £350 per family.

There are also glamping-style Stargazing Pods available, but most were sold out for the weekend dates we searched for in April and May.
The short break prices don't include theme park tickets, but you can add these on to your booking at discounted rates of £31pp (online day tickets are £34pp). There were also two-day passes from £165 per family.
Theme parks will be allowed to reopen in April as part of the second phase of the lockdown roadmap - we've got a guide on opening dates for each theme park as these can slightly vary.
There will be heaps for thrill-seekers to get excited about too, with plenty of new rides including Alton Towers' new Gangsta Granny ride, Legoland's new Mythica Land, and Paultons Park's Tornado Springs land with EIGHT new attractions.
