Alton Towers was forced to shut two sections after a fire broke out while thousands of families watched a fireworks display.
Firefighters were called to the attraction at around 7.30pm, Stoke On Trent Live reports .
Parts of the theme park were forced to close as a result as fire crews dealt with the emergency.
A stray firework has been blamed for the incident, which happened while thousands of families watched the Alton Towers annual fireworks spectacular at the time.
A spokesman for the attraction said: "This was a minor incident, with no risk to the public.
"As a result, we will not be reopening X Sector and the Dark Forest this evening. We apologise to guests for any inconvenience."
A Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "We were called after a stray firework hit an outbuilding sparking an accidental fire.
"We remained at the site for an hour-and-a-half. No-one was injured in the incident."
Alton Towers worked on its display with World Champion display team Jubilee Fireworks which has a number of awards worldwide, including gold at the Montreal International Fireworks Competition.
