Alternative wellbeing festival hits Glasgow this weekend with live workouts, yoga and meditation

A brand-new wellness festival is heading for Glasgow this weekend, with collaboration and both mental and physical wellbeing at the forefront of its message and mission. 'MINDSETS’ festival will be held at the Barra Art and Design Centre in the East End on Sunday, November 20.

Hosted by local wellbeing business owners Danny Stevenson of Two Birds, Cam Cooney of Cam Cooney Meditation, and Ben Wright of Four Pillars Studio, the event brings together some of Scotland’s top wellbeing experts and businesses for the day to support The Blankfaces; a local streetwear social enterprise and non-profit homeless charity with 15 per cent of all ticket sales going directly to them.

The festival will be supported by the global athletic wear brand lululemon and the male mental health charity, Movember.

With Live workouts, yoga, meditation, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, cold water therapy, DJ sets, a food truck, barbers, 12 market stalls from local wellbeing and drinks businesses, a surprise performance and a nighttime after party location, it's sure to be a big hit with guests.

A great way to support local Scottish businesses with the likes of Dear Green Coffee, Martta Anna Yoga, Vin18 café, Pitstop Nutrition, Mantra Holistic Support, Lucie Bradley Herbalist, Yogi Oils, Seven Chaga, Cal Facialist, Pickle Pack, and Sampuran Gill Yoga all showcasing their skills and selling their products, more tickets for the event have just been released.

Speaking about the event, Daniel said: "We are beyond excited to launch MINDSETS wellbeing festival in Glasgow this Sunday at BAAD in the heart of the East End!' said Two Birds Fitness owner Danny Stevenson.

"It's so important Glasgow and Scotland as a whole has a genuine voice when it comes to wellbeing and mental health, especially during challenging times for everyone. This festival will be shining a light on small and unique wellbeing businesses with a holistic approach to leading a healthy lifestyle. If you got a ticket, you can expect DJs, cold water therapy, yoga and meditation to name a few!"
