Alternative table shows how Leeds United have made a mockery of 'Big Six' Super League delusions

Victory over Tottenham on Sunday means that Leeds have an unbeaten record against former Super League clubs since the breakaway competition was announced on April 18.

Newly promoted Leeds United have won five points from a possible nine against the seperatist six sides, suggesting the Super League perhaps wasn’t so super after all.

It's a record that would put them on top of a league table based on games played against Super League clubs since the announcement.

Admittedly, it’s not the fairest of league tables as Leeds have played the former Super League clubs more often than anyone else since the competition’s launch.

A league table made up of all the matches which have taken place since the breakaway competition was announced would have Chelsea on top.

Tomas Tuchel’s side have won three and drawn one since the fateful day in April, giving them 10 points.

Leicester have the next best record with seven points, followed by Arsenal, Surs, Manchester City and Everton with six each.

Leeds have no more 'Big Six' opposition left this season, with their three remaining matches seeing them face Burnley, Southampton and West Bromwich Albion.
