Alshon Jeffery to play vs. Redskins despite dealing with Biceps injury

Alshon Jeffery popped up on the Eagles injury report on Thursday with a biceps injury that wasn’t deemed serious. On Friday, Eagles head coach Doug Pederson confirmed that Jeffery suffered the injury in a collision, but should be good to go on Sunday against Washington.

Jeffery missed the first three games of last season while recovering from shoulder surgery and finished the year with 65 catches for 843 yards and six touchdowns. Jeffery is the Eagles most valuable wide receiver and will be needed to help the Eagles control the NFC East.
