'Already the signs don't look good' - Newcastle United fans react as Norwich City win 3-1

Newcastle United were embarrassed by Norwich City as the promoted side ran out as deserved 3-1 winners.

Jonjo Shelvey got a 93rd minute consolation but it flattered the Magpies who were second best to the Canaries as Teemu Pukki netted three.

Norwich dominated the possession, and forced Martin Dubravka into several first-half saves before Pukki grabbed his first with a superb volley from 18 yards.

United had wasted two chances - a half-volley from debut boy Emil Kratfh, and a free Joelinton header - but it was Norwich who went in ahead at the break.

The Magpies tried to attack Norwich early in the second half but a second goal from Pukki just after the hour mark, and then on 75 minutes put the game to bed.

Shelvey grabbed a goal with two minutes of injury time remaining but it was too late for United to mount a comeback.

The result, and performance left United fans worried, angry and frustrated.

'We need a change of shape'

'Tactically inept from Bruce'

'There is no organisation whatsoever'

'Formation isn’t working at all'

'Already the signs don't look good'

'No effort, looked terrified going forward'
