Alpacas turn heads after being spotted strutting through Scots town

An adorable herd of alpacas have been snapped strutting their stuff on the streets of a Highland town.

The four furballs belong to William and Brenda Powrie, who can often be found leading the animals along the road.

The quartet have become local celebrities in Dingwall, thanks to their daily promenade which often turns heads.

Pictures show William, 62, and Brenda, 56, standing next to their beloved pets.

Brenda takes her alpacas out daily with husband William (Peter Jolly)

In one shot, William who is the owner of Highland League champions Brora Rangers, leads the alpacas past a pair of stunned pedestrians who turn their heads for a closer look.

While another shows the two of the group striding along a pavement unfazed as a car approaches behind them.

The bizarre scene was snapped by photographer Peter Jolly, who took to Facebook to share the images today.
