Alnwick Castle to host a special screening of Hocus Pocus for Halloween

If you need little persuasion to let the Sanderson sisters put a spell on you, you'll want to get yourself to Alnwick Castle this Halloween as they have something very special lined up for Hocus Pocus fans.

While it was released well over 20 years now, the spooky and iconic Disney film is still immensely popular, with many of us preparing to watch it at least once in the lead up to Halloween .

And, as good as watching it from the comfort of your own sofa in the company of a blanket and most probably some snacks is, if you fancy combining a night out with your love for Hocus Pocus, Alnwick Castle are giving you the opportunity to do just that.

On Saturday, October 26, the famous landmark will host a big screening of the film in its Great Hall, with tickets on sale now from the castle website.

It's been 300 years since the fire burned under the Sanderson sister's cauldron, but thanks to some unsuspecting teenagers, they are back!

Now Max, Alison and Dani have one night to save the children of Salem from the three wicked witches.

Hot dogs, soup, hot drinks and snacks will be available on the evening, with ticket holders also getting exclusive out of hours access to Artisans Courtyard and Dragon Quest before the film.

The film will begin at 6pm and tickets are priced Adults - £11.50 and Under 12's - £8.50.

Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.
