A further 46 people in Leeds have now contracted coronavirus, taking the city's total to 4,510.
There was also a spike in new cases across Yorkshire as a whole, with 179 people testing positive for the disease in the latest government figures, which were published on Sunday, August 30.
A total of 35,070 people have now been infected across Yorkshire.
Bradford has seen its biggest spike in Covid-19 cases for a week, with another 57 people testing positive for the virus in the West Yorkshire city, parts of which will remain in lockdown beyond Wednesday.
Leeds racked up the next highest number (46), which means there have been more than 100 new Covid-19 cases in the two cities alone. That's more than the rest of Yorkshire combined.
Calderdale - which has faced stringent lockdown measures in recent weeks - recorded just five new cases, although Kirklees saw another 25 people struck down by the illness.
However, there were no new fatalities reported in any Yorkshire hospitals in the latest NHS statement.
Across the UK as a whole, 334,476 people have been diagnosed with Covid-19 since the start of the global pandemic.
