More than 60,000 people in Lanarkshire have now been vaccinated against coronavirus.
Figures published by NHS Lanarkshire revealed that 60,156 vaccines had been given in the county up to Monday, February 1.
That means almost 10 per cent of Lanarkshire's population have received the vaccine.
Last week, more than 16,000 people were vaccinated by the health board as the nationwide roll out of the vaccination programme continues.
On Monday, 10 new mass vaccination centres were opened in Lanarkshire as efforts to vaccinate all 640,000 people in the county were stepped up.
These include the Time Capsule in Coatbridge and the Alastair McCoist Complex in East Kilbride as well as Motherwell's Civic Theatre and Whitehill Neighbourhood Centre in Hamilton.
Today (Wednesday, February 3), a further 168 coronavirus cases were confirmed in Lanarkshire and 12 more deaths were recorded.
In total, 33,391 people in the region have now tested positive for coronavirus and 1059 people have died.
