A serious accident in Livingston has resulted in the closure of a busy road this morning.
Almondvale Road is currently off-limits between the Multiplex roundabout and Burnside roundabout.
This is due to an accident near the retail park which is understood to have happened at around 6.30am.
West Lothian Police have taken to social media to advise people of the road closure, and explain that diversions are in place.
They added: "Traffic heavy in the area, please avoid meantime."
