Almond Valley opens its doors to families after four months of lockdown

Almond Valley Heritage Centre was delighted to be able to open its doors to visitors last week after nearly four months of
lockdown.

The attraction opened to pass holders and friends on Wednesday and Thursday before welcoming eager families from Saturday.

Staff said they were delighted to able to reopen to the public.

“It’s the first time since lockdown that we’ve welcomed general visitors to Almond Valley, although our friends and pass-holders have been back since Wednesday,” a spokesman said.

“The sun has shone, people have smiled, and all has seemed good with the world, despite the many strange things that we all still need to do to keep safe from the
virus.”

Booking is essential for a visit to the centre so please check the website for more details.
