A museum in West Lothian has shared CCTV of two young men who broke into its building last week, causing "damage and disruption."
The thieves are believed to have used a crowbar to gain entry to Almond Valley Heritage Centre in Livingston on Tuesday evening.
Those responsible are thought to be in their late teens and may also have been involved in a theft at a hair salon the same night.
Almond Valley includes has an old water mill and farm on its grounds, with farmyard animals being another attraction for visitors.
The CCTV shows two people in hoodies moving around the building, one apparently holding a crowbar.
The Museum said: "Mill Farm is home to pet rats and giant hissing cockroaches, but there is one form of two-legged vermin that is never welcome.
"Last night, two young men broke into several buildings at Almond Valley using a crowbar. They got away with little of value (everything was well locked-up) but they caused a lot of damage and a great deal of distress and disruption.
"Two lads, one in a dark hoodie, one in a light hoodie, were spotted around the site at various times between 17.00 and 20.30. When interrupted while trying to break into a further building, they fled on bmx-style bikes."
Earlier, police appealed for information following the two break-ins on Tuesday night.
Detective Constable Rachel Royan of Livingston CID said: “We are treating these incidents as linked and are appealing to anyone who has information, or who may have seen anything in the area around this time, to get in touch."
Those with information are asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident 3547 of 21 January, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
