The Sun's TV critic Ally Ross is not a happy man. In today's column, he describes Children In Need as "a desperate night that raised only slightly more than the BBC's annual taxi bill and less than last year's event". If he says that about the £18m charity event, don't let him near the Beeb's Christmas listings.
