Ally McCoist has sent his heartfelt congratulations to his 'wee pal' fresh from signing for Rangers.
The Gers hero revealed on talkSPORT's breakfast show earlier today than his youngest son's best pal had signed for the Ibrox club.
Hosting the show with Gabby Agbonlahor, McCoist gave a shoutout to the promising teenager James Reid.
"Before I start I'm going to take 30 seconds to wish somebody congratulations and wish him the best of luck," McCoist said on the airwaves.
"And it is my wee pal wee James Reid, my youngest boy's best pal.
"He has worked really really hard and he is just signing a contract with Rangers."

Agbonlahor chimed in: "Fantastic. Does he need an agent?
McCoist said: "I think you'll find you're looking at him!
"No, he's a great talent, he's a magic kid, he wants to learn. He's 16. The hard work starts now but congratulations."
