Ally McCoist makes grudging Celtic admission as Alan Brazil fesses up in face of Ange Postecoglou turnaround

Rangers legend Ally McCoist grudgingly admits Celtic are starting to look like the real deal under Ange Postecoglou.

And the Ibrox goal hero was blown away by Parkhead's new favourite Kyogo Furuhashi after watching him turn in another sensational performance against AZ Alkmaar.

The Japanese attacker grabbed his sixth goal in as many games before playing a big role in the deflected equaliser that eventually went down as a Timo Letschert own goal for a 2-0 victory.

It's a massive advantage to take over to the Netherlands with even a one-goal defeat in the second leg enough to take Postecoglou's men to the group stage of the Europa League.

Talksport co-host Alan Brazil was sceptical of the manager's appointment at first and he was up for poking fun at his initial concerns.

He said: "I told you 'Cadgegoogoo' would be brilliant, Celtic won 2-0 last night."

And McCoist had to concede even he's impressed as he replied: "Listen... they're looking all right.

"My big yin was playing last night, I was watching him.

"But I had my eye on all of the games across the Championship and the Celtic game. And the Celtic game looked quite open.

"Having said that, I tell you that wee fella is looking lively for Celtic, Alan.

"The wee fella, Furuhashi up front. He ain't bad mate. He's quick, can finish, it'll be interesting to see him against more physical opposition.

"But I tell you what, he doesn't half look all right. I think Forrest got the second goal and Furuhashi made it as well.

"Another goal and an assist, I think he's got six in six."
