Ally McCoist in Rangers odds disbelief as he's tempted by Celtic bookie bashing

Ally McCoist admits he's tempted to bet big on stunning Celtic in Sunday's Betfred Cup Final .

He's confident Steven Gerrard's side will bounce back from their midweek disappointment against Aberdeen and win a first major trophy since 2011.

The Ibrox legend, who went viral on Thursday sporting an accidental skinhead, was left in disbelief at Rangers being priced 2/1 for a victory.

Speaking on talkSPORT, he was informed by Coral PR man Simon Clare that Celtic 's odds were as low as 8/13.

And those prices had the 57-year-old considering throwing some money at a victory for his old club.

Asked if this weekend was finally Rangers ' moment, McCoist replied: "Simon, you have absolutely nailed it.

"2/1 Rangers? I'll need to have a think about that."

But above all, McCoist insists he's thrilled at the prospect of the Glasgow rivals going toe-to-toe in a major final once again.

He continued: "I'm really, really looking forward to it. I'm working at the game and I'm really looking forward to an Old Firm game again at Hampden.

"Both sides have 50 per cent of the crowd, the atmosphere - I cannot wait."
