Rangers legend Ally McCoist has moved to distance himself from Kris Boyd after the pundit got himself in hot water with Leeds fans.
Former Ibrox striker Boyd incurred the wrath of Leeds supporters by querying the praise that has been lavished upon their manager Marcelo Bielsa.
He took aim at the Yorkshire side insisting they were "overhyped" on Sky Sports as he clashed with host Jeff Stelling.
However, Stelling couldn't resist a cheeky dig at Boyd after the on-air clash following the shock win over Manchester City for the Elland Road side.
Stelling said on Sky Sports: "I'm never sorry when Ally (McCoist) is on the show, never ever sorry. But you know what? This week I wish Kris Boyd was here.
"All you Leeds fans would wish he was here, as well. Remember what Kris Boyd said about Leeds United?
"Was it, overrated? Or was it underachieving? Was it both? Did he say they'd spent too much money?

"To me, those goals against Manchester City told me it was £100million blooming well spent, Boydy, that is for sure!
"I think every Leeds fan would tell you exactly the same. Stuart Dallas made Kris Boyd choke on his words."
At that point, McCoist cut in to distance himself from the comments made by his fellow countrymen.
He hilariously added: "Jeff, you've got to let me in here, I can categorically tell you guys, that is not the view of all ex- Rangers strikers and Scotland strikers north of the border. I want to clear that up."
Stelling then laughed: "I think it's the view of just one football pundit in the UK, to be absolutely honest."
