The discussion was started after known Gunners fan Matt Docherty signed for Jose Mourinho's Spurs in a £12million deal.
A laughing McCoist tried to shut down his punditry colleague as the question was raised.
He said: "Forget it, I'm a lot of things but I ain't no fraud."
Bent replied: "Now you are very well paid for a lot of your jobs but I won't disclose the fees but I have to throw it at you.
"£100 grand a week. Are you putting on that Celtic shirt?"
McCoist, who scored 27 of his 355 Rangers goals against Celtic offered a simple reply: "Nope."
The legendary striker won 20 major trophies during his time in Govan including 10 league titles and was twice Europe's leading goalscorer.
