Ally McCoist cracks up at Celtic 'shocker' jibe as Jamie O'Hara earns approval from Rangers legend

Rangers hero Ally McCoist couldn't contain his amusement when a fellow pundit slated Celtic's title defence on-air.

The Ibrox goal hero was involved in a discussion on talkSPORT with Jamie O'Hara and Alan Brazil when the topic of the English title race came up.

London trio Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs have had differing fortunes at different points in the English Premier League season but none of them are anywhere near the Manchester sides battling it out at the top.

And O'Hara couldn't resist an off-topic dig at Neil Lennon's side - much to the amusement of the former Ibrox striker.

McCoist said :"I've got to say, I keep going on about the league, and the inconsistencies within the league this year which have made it incredibly exciting and it's been brilliant.

"But I did say last week that there's a little bit of normality, certainly in the form of Manchester City, has kicked in now and I do think they'll kick on.

"But can you believe, we're talking about inconsistencies but you've got to give credit to your Leicesters, your West Hams, and indeed your Evertons.

"But those three London clubs we mentioned, dear me they're having a shocker are they not?"

That prompted a cutting remark from co-host Jamie O'Hara, a man never shy of stirring the pot in Scottish football, as he said: "They're having a Celtic, aren't they."

A chuffed McCoist bellowed: "That'll do for me Jamie boy!"

But Hoops-daft Alan Brazil wasn't too pleased: "Are you winding me up?"
