Ally McCoist and Darren Fletcher headline Sky Sports' new look Scottish Premiership TV line-up

Sky Sports have announced that Rangers legend Ally McCoist will be key members of their punditry team for the new season.

The broadcaster has taken over exclusive rights to the Scottish Premiership for the next five years after a previous deal that saw the contract shared with BT Sport.

The action gets under way with Aberdeen vs Rangers on Saturday and Ibrox icon McCoist will be in attendance having joined the Sky punditry team for the coming season.

Former Scotland captain Darren Fletcher will also be fronting coverage for the 2020-21 season, along with Celtic hero John Hartson.

Regular pundits Kris Boyd and James McFadden will be back for the new campaign, as will host Eilidh Barbour.

Commentary will come from Ian Crocker and Andy Walker.

Sky Sports  director of football Gary Hughes said: "We're delighted to be able to bring our customers comprehensive and exclusive coverage of the Scottish Premiership in this, the first year of a five-year contract.

"It promises to be a thrilling season and we can't wait to get going on August 1 on the home of Scottish football."
