It’s been a while but Hearts are back in action this Saturday.
The Jambos head to Alloa on Championship duty having not kicked a ball in two weeks.
Their Scottish Cup tie against either Camelon or Brora was initially postponed after their first round tie fell foul of the weather several times.
That was eventually played on Wednesday with the Highland League side prevailing, but the second round encounter can’t take plac until next month at the earliest after the competition wa spot on hold.
Robbie Neilson ’s side were then due to take on Dunfermline on Tuesday, but their cup meeting at Greenock Morton was postponed until then before being scrapped.
A win is paramount after losing 3-1 at Dundee and they will be out for revenge after losing 1-0 at the Indodrill Stadium in the Betfred Cup.
