Alloa have claimed they are tired of hearing it's "all about the Rangers" in the wake of the Ibrox side's Europa League sickener against Benfica.
The club's official account waded into a debate in the aftermath of Steven Gerrard 's side failing to see off the Portuguese big-hitters.
Alloa and Rangers endured quite the rivalry during their two shared years together in the Championship with the Ibrox side struggling mightily with their part-time foes.
The 'Banter Years' are a memory the Ibrox faithful would love to forget but the Wasps are fed-up when they namechecked when pundits and fans point to how far they have come in recent years.
And Alloa had a topical meme in tow as they channeled SpongBob SquarePants to remind everyone they defeated Ally McCoist 's side back in 2015.
They posted: "a fEw YeArS aGO wE weRE dRawINg aT aLlOa."
Before responding: "Tired of this comment when Rangers bottle it. All for the coefficient myself."
That response garnered a deluge of responses from the Ibrox supporters who claimed the Wasps should be focusing on their own form.
Many also recalled the infamous video of an angry Rangers fan shouting "Same old Alloa, always cheating" during a stalemate between the teams in 2015.
