Allo Allo legend Vicki Michelle has taken to social media to share her delight at finding Rene's café and bar in Tynemouth.
Vicki, who famously played flirtatious waitress Yvette in the long-running World War Two inspired BBC comedy, has been in the North East this week as one of the cast of stage show Dirty Dusting, which played Playhouse Whitley Bay on Friday night.
As so many visitors to the coast do, Vicki and co-stars including Leah Bell and Coronation Street's very own Janice Battersby, actress Vicki Entwhistle, took some time to have a look around.

And, it was during a wander through Tynemouth that Vicki came across Rene's bar, and couldn't resist posting for a photo outside.
Posting a picture outside the Front Street haunt, with her pointing up at its sign on her Facebook page, actress Vicki wrote: "Allo Allo visiting Tynemouth at Playhouse theatre Whitley Bay tonight. What did I find Oooooh Rene’s Bar."
One of her Facebook followers, commented: "You should had gone in and ask for a job and see if they know the connection," with another, referencing Allo, Allo, joking: "I was upstairs with Mimi at the time."
Vicki's Geordie fans were also quick to react to the photo, with one telling her: "You can get the best Cheese Scones ever in there, you should pop in and say 'Allo'," and a second adding: "Hope you had a lovely visit to our fabulous coast."
After a pilot episode on the BBC in 1982, Allo, Allo ran for nine series between September 1984 and December 1992.
As well as Yvette, other memorable characters included Michelle of the Resistance, and her famous 'Listen carefully, I will say this only once' catchphrase, Rene's nagging wife Edith and her grumpy bed bound mother and Gestapo Officer Herr Flick.
