Allison Janney has been in plenty of iconic movies and TV shows over the years, including Shameless, The West Wing, American Beauty, Veep, and many, many more.
Janney, 60, has won multiple awards over her illustrious career, including an Academy Award and seven Primetime Emmys.
And while she didn't win anything for her role in the 1999 classic teen film 10 Things I Hate About You, it's still a classic. The movie, which also starred Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles, celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2019.
She played the romance novel writing Ms. Perky - although it's not clear how much she remembers about the racy role.
Comments by Celebs captured her confusion. After musician Travis Howard posted a picture of the 10 Things credits with Janney's name, she commented, "What am I in that I forget I was in?"
Howard responded, "Just every other movie made from 1997 to present. Don't worry about it, I'm keeping a spreadsheet."
On the Comments by Celebs post, Eva Chen asked, "Honestly how does one forget about that movie masterpiece!!!" and Entertainment Tonight host Lauren Zima wrote, "Imagine that character advising students on Zoom."
She's not the only celebrity to forget one of her major roles. Anna Kendrick tweeted that she forgot about Twilight and Gwyneth Paltrow forgot she appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
