The MBA programme at Alliance Manchester Business School has been ranked fifth in the UK by the Financial Times.
The business school was named 11th in Europe and 45th in the world in the Global MBA Ranking 2020.
It was placed behind London Business School, which secured the top UK position, followed by University of Cambridge: Judge, University of Oxford: Saïd and Warwick Business School.

The business school jumped 14 places in the global ranking - up from 59th position in 2019 - and is up two places in the UK ranking, where last year it was in seventh position.
Professor Devine continued: “Today’s ranking cements our position as one of the UK’s leading business schools in what has been an exciting year for AMBS, in our impressive new facilities at the heart of the University of Manchester campus.

The Financial Times, which uses information from a school survey and data from a graduation class three years ago, found the school improved in 14 of the 20 ranking categories from 2019.
The school is ranked 31st in the world for career progress and is the UK’s top business school - and ranked third globally - for corporate social responsibility.
