Alli, Eriksen, Lucas Moura - Latest Tottenham team news and expected line-up vs Watford

Tottenham return to Premier League action on Saturday as they welcome Watford to North London.

Mauricio Pochettino's side have made a mixed start to the season and sit in ninth place with 14 points from eight games so far.

Matters off the field seem to be affecting results on it, but now is the time for Spurs to get back to winning ways.

They take on the Hornets who have had a torrid start to the season and sit bottom of the table with just three points from the opening eight fixtures.

For Pochettino's side it's the ideal opportunity to get three points on the board, but a lot will depend on who is available.

Tottenham have been boosted by the news of Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon's imminent return.

The hip injury sustained during the first international break of the season has meant that Lo Celso has not been able to add to his three substitute appearances, with Sessegnon not featuring at all due to the hamstring issue he picked up in the summer while representing England U21s.

Revealing that the duo were in the latter stages of their rehabilitation ahead of the Brighton game before the international break,  the club have now confirmed  that both players are back on the training pitch with their teammates.

But the likelihood of them being fit to start appear to be slim.

Speaking ahead of the game, Pochettino said: "To be honest, today they are far away from the level they need to be involved.

"There are a lot of players ahead of them, but it’s good news that from now, tomorrow they are going to be involved with the team. That is a massive step. It’s been a lot of time they were out. Now it's about building their fitness, their capacity to understand, to start to compete with their teammates.

"The good thing in the last few days we saw in the training sessions is the players were fantastic in their behaviour and commitment and the level of the training sessions and the focus were fantastic. I’m so happy because of that and it will be difficult for players who were injured to catch up to the level and be in the same level."

Christian Eriksen is a doubt for the game with Watford due to a dead leg, while Son Heung-min may only be fit for the bench after returning from international duty on Thursday.

Other than Hugo Lloris who is a long-term absentee with an elbow injury, Mauricio Pochettino has a fully fit squad to choose from.

Expected Spurs line-up: Gazzaniga, Aurier, Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Rose, Winks, Ndombele, Alli, Lamela, Moura, Kane.
