Allen Robinson was battling broken ribs during his biggest game of season

Allen Robinson was not at 100 percent when the Chicago Bears hosted the Philadelphia Eagles in the playoffs.

You couldn’t tell by watching him.

In the biggest game of the year, Robinson stepped up with a season-high 10 catches for 143 yards and a touchdown.

He revealed this week on Bears All Access he was playing with fractured ribs.

Robinson initially suffered the injury on a diving catch against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 16. He finished out that game but sat out the following week against the Minnesota Vikings because of the injury.

He didn’t let broken ribs keep him from suiting up for the first playoff appearance of his career, and he certainly made it count.

The rest of the team couldn’t do enough to secure the victory, but Robinson firmly established himself as the Bears’ legitimate No. 1 wide receiver this season, accentuated by his final performance that only looks more impressive now.
