Chicago Bears receiver Allen Robinson is showing signs of discontent after Week 1. He deleted all Bears-related content from his Instagram account. So, naturally, New England Patriots fans think Bill Belichick should trade for the receiver.
Robinson may want a contract extension, judging from an exchange he had with his teammate Cordarrelle Patterson. Robinson wrote on Twitter that “tryna keep it peaceful is a struggle for me,” and Patterson responded “extend extend extend @ChicagoBears.”
It wasn’t a bad week for Robinson or the Bears. He logged five catches for 74 yards in the team’s win over the Detroit Lions, with Mitchell Trubisky throwing three touchdowns in the fourth quarter. Still, Robinson doesn’t seem happy, and fans think Belichick should scoop him up.

The Patriots have a lack of depth at receiver, with Julian Edelman, N’Keal Harry, Damiere Byrd and Jakobi Meyers. They cut Mohamed Sanu at the roster deadline, and put Gunner Olszewski on injured reserve last week. There’s no doubt Robinson would be a huge addition for quarterback Cam Newton. But there is the riddle of his contract, which would be sizable for the Patriots to take on and extend.
