It was the 17th career shutout by Allen _ who had 26 saves _ moving him past Glenn Hall into third place in Blues franchise history. It was the first shutout for Allen in exactly a calendar year _ he blanked Dallas 3-0 last Dec. 7.
The Blues, improving to 10-13-4 on the season, improved to 2-5-4 this season in one-goal games. They won their first one-goal contest 3-2 in overtime in Colorado a week ago.
