I didn't know that a book could change someone so much! Even though I am ashamed to say it, I actually cried at the end and I don't cry about many things (I'm Dauntless like that!) I laughed, cried, screamed and yelled, I even (nearly) chucked my kindle (that is not product placement) at the wall. I enjoyed absolutely every minute of it and I honestly could not put it down.
This is the third and final Divergent book. After the video about 'outside the fence' was revealed, Tris was put in a cell to wait for her trial. She was to be put under truth serum but (being Tris) she can resist it. She ends up working with a group of rebels, the Allegiant, and she finds herself outside of the city. Battling evil, brainy psychopaths is one thing, but battling against the unknown is completely different. Excepting that they aren't alone in the world is hard but it doesn't take them long to find another thing to rebel against. Life outside the fence is slit unfairly into two groups, The GD's (genetically damaged) and the GP's (genetically pure). But Nita's plan isn't as it seems and Tris finds that she has to make the hardest choice of her life.
Some people might think that the ending ruins it but I think that it was a good way to round off the series. I would recommend it to anyone over ten who likes dystopian and dark, depressing stuff.
Ten out of ten. Absolutely BRILLIANT!!!
