Alleged South Coast suppliers arrested in $12 million drug bust

A criminal syndicate believed to be responsible for the supply of drugs on the South Coast has been uncovered in Sydney.

A criminal syndicate believed to be responsible for the supply of cocaine, MDMA and ice to the South Coast has been uncovered in Sydney.

Six men with ties to Sydney bikie gangs have been charged after police seized $12 million in drugs, three firearms and $1.2 million in cash during a search of 10 Sydney properties.

Officers also discovered four luxury vehicles, jewellery valued at $1 million, ammunition and 100L of chemicals used to manufacture drugs during the search.

A 36-year-old man was arrested at a car park at Bulli on Wednesday, a search of his vehicle found drugs with an estimated street value of $150,000, police said.

The Miranda man - who is allegedly a Bandidos bikie associate - was taken charged with 20 offences at Wollongong Police Station.

A further five men - aged 26, 28, 47 and two aged 31 - were arrested during the operation and taken to local police stations.

The men, a 26-year-old from Rose Bay and a 28-year-old from Revesby Heights were charged with supplying a prohibited drug and participating in a criminal group contributing to criminal activity.

A 31-year-old Peakhurst man who is a Bandidos member, a 31-year-old Pyrmont man and a 47-year-old Zetland man have all been arrested over similar charges.
